Food and Drink

Napa Valley Restaurant Week

January | Napa

This 10-day celebration is every foodie’s dream! Immerse yourself in the rich culinary world during Napa Valley Restaurant Week. You may know Napa Valley as a wine hub, but there is so much for your pallet to explore as you dive into delish dishes inspired by various cultures. Farm-to-table ingredients, food truck feasts, and exclusive offers are the highlights of this annual event. January is the perfect time to visit the Valley and try world-class restaurants!

Napa Truffle Festival

January | Napa

Step inside the mind of a Michelin Star chef during the Napa Truffle Festival. Pick and choose from a wide variety of events throughout the festival, from learning seminars to tastings to tours. Shop at the local market to pick up truffles and recreate your favorite dishes at home, or do the foraging yourself on a guided trip into the forest.

Expertise is shared with enthusiasm, especially when pairing the perfect plate with a crisp glass of wine. There will even be trained truffle dogs to love up on.

Calistoga Harvest Table

September | Calistoga

Join a few hundred friends as you sit down for dinner at the Calistoga Harvest Table. Every year, 40+ wineries, nine restaurants, and epicures join together for a meal on a thousand feet of tables.

When the bell rings at 6pm, take your seat and dive into farm-to-table dining and fruity wines. This unique dining experience in Napa Valley is community-oriented, welcoming visitors from around the globe to come together over a beautiful plate of food.

The stretch of tables down the heart of historic downtown Calistoga is a favorite of ours at Craftsman Inn and Calistoga Wine Way Inn.

There is a course for each type of runner. Sign up for the full or half marathon, or take your time walking the 5k.

Music

Music Festivals

May-July | Napa Valley

Every summer, the calendar is jam-packed with music and entertainment. BottleRock Napa Valley is the first taste of summer in Napa Valley. Rock out to superstars of all genres at this massive festival at Napa Valley Expo.

Commit to the entire three days or reserve a spot on your itinerary for single-day admission. Highlights include first-class catering, a silent disco, spa time, and a club experience.

The Valley also hosts a couple of Jazz Festivals for vacationers looking to lean into a soulful and smooth getaway. The Napa Valley Jazz Getaway and Blue Note Jazz Festival’s Black Radio Experience are a couple of our favorites. Music in the Vineyards is another highlight, where vineyards come alive with the sound of good tunes, chatter, and laughter.

Summer Concert Series

June-September | Napa Valley

What would summer be without a concert series? Calistoga is the perfect distance from some hit shows, including the St. Helena Summer Concert Series, Napa Friday Nights in the Park, and Calistoga Concerts in the Park. Park your lawn chairs with a glass of wine in hand and relish the perfect evening entertainment echoing through the valley.

New to the summer series lineup is the Oxbow RiverStage, a novice event venue. Whatever venue, vibe, or tune you decide on, you’re guaranteed a memorable show and magical musical getaway.

Movies and wine are the perfect date night agenda. If you are visiting in January, make a point to catch a few short films produced by up-and-coming directors and visionaries during the Yountville International Short Film Festival.

Immerse yourself in new worlds from the seat of multiple venues. The lineup of “World Class Short Films” highlights different stories and perspectives and is made to come to life before your eyes.

Grab a giant bucket of popcorn, sip on Napa Valley wine, and join your partner hand-in-hand for a romantic evening of independent cinema.
