Whether you’re staying for business or pleasure, there’s really no question that you want a high-quality, delicious breakfast that will have you feeling your very best for whatever your day holds in Napa Valley. Whether you’re exploring wineries, enjoying some hiking or bike riding, or just doing some shopping, The Wine Way Inn and Craftsman Inn are the best choice for a healthy, delicious start to your day.
Our quiet garden tables and glass-roofed dining room at the Wine Way Inn are the perfect backdrops to enjoy our delicious spread. At the Craftsman Inn, you can choose to mingle with other guests at the dining table or enjoy the fresh air at a smaller table out on our porch.
Each breakfast starts out with beverage choices including our signature Craftsman Inn blend coffee, fine teas, and orange juice. Then you can choose your favorite combination of homemade granola, homemade yoghurt, fresh or cooked local fruits and breakfast breads (our guests rave about our scones!), followed by our hot dish of the day. During the fall season, one of our favorite dishes to share is our chardonnay baked pears with honey recipe. These are valley-grown pears baked in honey, chardonnay, and just a touch of cane sugar. Yum!
We strive to make our breakfast as wholesome and nutritious as possible (while still offering that delicious indulgence you may be looking for on a vacation!). Innkeeper Nick grows many of the herbs, fruits, and vegetables that are served on our tables from his inn garden or his plot at the community garden. Our other main source of heirloom ingredients is the local farmers market. We are proud to create food that supports local agriculture and showcases the very best in Napa Valley agriculture.
If you have any dietary needs or preferences, we are more than happy to accommodate them. Just let us know when you book a room so we are sure to have the best ingredients for you on hand. So don’t wait, come see for yourself why guests give our breakfasts glowing reviews!
|“Breakfast was AMAZING. So many delicious options, everything house-made, including the best scones I’ve ever had. [Gill] is a fabulous chef and even has a cookbook featuring “inn food” recipes!”||“Breakfasts each day are a treat with items like poached eggs, sausages, scones , beans, frittata, and fruit. The evenings offer wine in the lobby. We wish all our vacations were like this one. We’ll be back again.”|
