Our newest addition to Calistoga is Tanit, a Pan-Asian inspired restaurant. With cuisine from Thailand, India and Vietnam there is sure to be something for everyone’s palate. The price range is about middle of the road, lunch for $20 a head and dinner for $30 a head. The environment in the restaurant is quaint and clean, with walls painted in a floral design. Beer and wine is available, along with classic Thai tea and soda.

The restaurant is set up for each person to order their own dish, but they can also make bigger portions to share for the table. The entrees were a good size, easily feeding two for lunch with an appetizer. All of the dishes we had were bursting with flavor.

Our appetizers, chicken satay and imperial rolls, came with 4 pieces of each, perfect to share. The pho was simple and elegant with the traditional accouterments accompanying it. One dish that stuck out was the Red curry with naan. This fusion dish had Indian and Thai flavors flowing through it.

A great addition for Calistoga dining. We are looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. For something a little different than the usual French or American dining, try Tanit Pan-Asian Cuisine on your next trip to Calistoga.
